The STEM program at Olle helped set me up to be efficient and successful in high school and to gain college readiness skills. Having the resources to do many hands-on activities and work with my peers and teachers taught me the importance of hard work, cooperation, and leadership. Being in the stem program provided me with many opportunities to learn about careers and my options for the future. The STEM program also helped me develop other valuable skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and responsibility.

STEM has played a transformative role in my life, opening doors to endless opportunities for learning and growth. Through my experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, I've developed critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep curiosity about the world. These fields have not only shaped my academic journey here at the University of Texas but have also inspired me to pursue research and medicine that can make a real difference in the world. STEM has empowered me to challenge myself, think creatively, and contribute meaningfully to the future.

Being a part of the STEM Academy at Olle Middle School taught me to try hard and be okay with failure. I learned to critically think, problem solve, and work with a group. Most importantly, it helped me realize what I am good at and how to develop those skills that would lead to a future career in Computer Science and Music.
