District Education Improvement Council

Educational Improvement Council

Mission

The Alief ISD Educational Improvement Council (EIC) is a district-level committee that serves in an advisory role to the Superintendent by reviewing and providing input on the District's educational goals, objectives, and significant district-wide classroom instructional programs.  The EIC comprises elected campus teachers, other professionals, other district staff, volunteer parents and students, and business and community members.

During the school year, the EIC meets monthly to learn about and provide input on various district programs and practices that impact students and staff.

If you are a parent of an Alief ISD student, a community member who resides in the District, or would like to represent your business or company and are interested in serving on the EIC, please get in touch with the Alief ISD EIC facilitator.
